Requirements:
  • Video game industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in partnership sales, business development, or account management, focusing on video game media, entertainment, or gaming industries.
  • Proficiency with Sales software is a plus (HubSpot, Sponsor United, Apollo.io)
  • Comprehensive Rolodex of brands engaged in the gaming industry
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing high-value partnerships with a strong gaming network.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, media landscape, and live event ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for gaming and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the gaming space.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to generate new business opportunities, expand brand partnerships, and enhance existing relationships.
  • Drive sales efforts by prospecting and targeting potential partners, including game publishers (US & Japan), technology providers, media agencies, and consumer brands.
  • Negotiate, structure, and close partnership deals that align with our business objectives and maximize revenue potential.
  • Leverage our media partners to enhance proposals, creating omnichannel marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of partnerships and activations.
  • Manage and nurture key accounts, ensuring partners receive exceptional service and value from their collaborations with us.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential partners, providing regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and secure new partnerships.
