Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an applicable technical subject area.
• Minimum of 6 years in cybersecurity, product security, or security risk management.
• Managerial or team leader experience.
• Experience implementing security design, development, validation, and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001.
• Experience with security analysis and testing tools (SCA, SAST, DAST).
• Proven competence in threat modeling using standard methods.
• Experience analyzing security vulnerabilities and prioritizing patching activities.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure business unit adoption of product security procedures and standards.
• Create comprehensive system threat models with R&D teams.
• Perform security risk assessments for products and third-party solution providers.
• Track and report adherence to product security requirements.
• Oversee integration of security tools into R&D processes.
• Ensure delivery of all security documentation per BD Quality Systems.
• Lead and manage a small team of Product Security Managers/Engineers.
• Work with teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Manage coordination meetings and internal communications.
• Engage various stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues.
• Champion initiatives around innovative product security processes.
