Digital Ingestion Associate (Contractor)

Requirements:

• Background in educational technology preferred.
• Demonstrated high-level of fluency and understanding in digital publishing platforms (Wordpress, Google Classroom, or other platforms that utilize a rich text editor).
• Minimum of 2 years experience with content or learning management systems.
• Must be comfortable with and knowledgeable of Math and English Language Arts content.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Precise and effective communications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a virtual environment.
• Ability to foster a positive remote team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Product Team documentation and onboarding protocols to correctly edit and evaluate digital assessments into Open Up Resources partners platforms for Math and ELA content.
• Evaluate the transformation of items from print to digital format and provide feedback to ingestion partners.
• Ensure content meets best practices for accessibility.
• Apply updates or corrections to existing content as needed and approved.
• Maintain documentation systems to coordinate remote teams.
• Review ingested content for accuracy.
• Execute on a quality assurance process to ensure that the content has been correctly ingested and is functioning as intended.
• Meet and communicate virtually with your project lead on a regular basis to ensure you’re meeting project milestones and timelines.
• Identify issues with content ingestion and/or timelines before they become a problem.
