Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Excellent spatial awareness with the ability to use 2D and 3D maps.
  • Strong investigative research skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer system requirements: Windows 11 or Mac OS Ventura 13.0 or higher, minimum 8 GB RAM and specific internet speed requirements.
  • Must have a private workspace and complete the Aira Agent Prescreen and Aptitude Test.
Responsibilities:
  • Clearly and accurately present on-demand visual information to blind and low vision customers.
  • Consistently answer calls while scheduled.
  • Display a composed and professional demeanor that inspires trust and supports the Aira mission.
  • Engage and support the team by participating in team-building exercises, making helpful suggestions, and encouraging other Visual Interpreters.
  • Maintain strict data privacy standards and confidentiality.
  • Anticipate Explorers’ needs and provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Adapt to uncertainties or changing priorities during calls.
