Requirements:
- Demonstrated interest in climate change or energy topics and passion for CATF’s mission.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as chemical or environmental engineering or environmental policy.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in climate and energy policy; 3-4 years preferred.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; modeling experience is a plus.
- Responsible and dependable with a commitment to high-quality work and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Help track and report on key policy and private-sector efforts concerning hydrogen deployment in the U.S.
- Collaborate on qualitative and quantitative research related to hydrogen production, lifecycle emissions, transport, and feasibility in end-use sectors.
- Support engagement with policymakers to promote hydrogen policy, including analyzing draft policies and planning educational efforts.
- Contribute to coalitions with industry, nonprofits, and government representatives.
- Monitor implementation initiatives like hydrogen hubs across relevant agencies.
- Assist teams in drafting advocacy materials and logistics for events and webinars.
