Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall experience, including several years in management roles.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Node.js, and databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL) on GCP.
• Experience with code reviews is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred, but candidates from larger organizations are welcome.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow engineering teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working closely with product and QA teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 1-on-1s, provide regular feedback, and perform performance reviews to help team members grow.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams daily to prioritize and deliver projects on time and with high quality.
• Drive hiring efforts, onboard new engineers, and build a high-performing team.
• Assess and enhance engineering processes to improve efficiency and team satisfaction.
• Model and promote effective communication within the team by setting clear expectations and encouraging open communication.
• Support engineers in debugging and troubleshooting, and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Ensure the success of the team by recognizing and aligning team members' personal goals with team objectives.
