Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and manage changes while ensuring optimal clinic workflow.
  • Assist in gathering and verifying patient information, including medical history and insurance details, before appointments.
  • Support clinical staff by relaying patient concerns, test results, and updates promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients and answer related questions.
  • Monitor and respond to messages and requests through multiple communication channels, such as phone, email, and patient portals.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely follow-up on referrals, lab results, and other patient-related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and update the electronic medical records (EMR) system as needed.
  • Provide empathetic and culturally sensitive communication tailored to patient needs.
