Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a respected Philippine university.
• CA, CPA or equivalent certification is desired.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Xero.
• Prior experience in a start-up as an Accounting Manager for an Australian-based company.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards.
• Experience with New Zealand and US accounting practices is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, including reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, GST, payroll, and intercompany accounts.
• Perform timely end-of-month and end-of-year processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and client invoice processing.
• Execute payroll processing and reconcile payroll accounts regularly.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and regulatory filings as needed.
• Assist with loan portfolio management and budget monitoring.
