DevOps Engineer (Family Networking)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, DynamoDB, SQS)
• 3+ years of experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra
• Proficiency in microservices and horizontally scalable architectures
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining systems with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Docker, Prometheus, and Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Argo, Jenkins, CircleCI, BuildKite)
• Experience with queuing/streaming technologies such as Kafka and NSQ
• Knowledge of high-scale, low-latency systems
• Adaptive to working across scripting/programming languages regularly
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
• English proficiency from B1 for effective communication

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with distributed teams on cloud and DevOps projects
• Upgrade Kubernetes deployments to the latest version
• Maintain libraries and operating systems to ensure they are upgraded and current
• Test and deploy security patches to maintain compliance and system integrity
• Propose upgrades and updates to ensure system scalability, reliability, and resilience
• Update CI/CD pipelines to optimize build and deployment times
• Assist the Test Engineering team in automating service and component validation
