Requirements:
  • 2+ years of corporate legal support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with additional experience
  • Experience in healthcare, particularly with payors including government programs (Medicare, Medicaid)
  • Familiarity with New York and Delaware law
  • Experience working with multi-site healthcare (preferred)
  • Experience with Carta software (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict time constraints

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Prepare and organize corporate documentation, including correspondence, reports, and memoranda
  • Own the legal document database, structure and keep up-to-date
  • Manage investor equity through Carta
  • Provide support during audits
  • Ensure state compliance is met with licensure and board physicians
  • Ensure good standing and annual reports are filed on a timely basis
  • Support new business and proposal teams as needed
  • Coordinate the execution of remote signatures and notarizations for executives and directors
