Requirements:

• BS in computer science, similar discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience architecting and shipping high-performance and large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with deploying vision language models or large-scale vision encoders in production for image/video understanding.
• Experience with core cloud services and modern vector databases.
• Solid software engineering principles including design patterns, source control, testing methodologies, and CI.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data products utilizing foundation models like multi-modal encoding models, vision language models, and large language models.
• Own large-scale mining workflows that surface rare objects, model errors, and long-tail events.
• Build high-quality datasets to improve ML products through training and edge case validation.
• Contribute to data processing pipelines for an in-house billion-scale image search engine.
• Provide statistical depth on model performance through rigorous error analysis.
