Requirements:

• Superior project management and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving and mentoring skills.
• Good facilitation skills with the ability to have difficult conversations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with EJ organizations and community organizing.
• Master’s degree preferred (experience may substitute for degree).
• Strong analytic skills for compiling, researching, and analyzing information.
• Bilingual/multi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with development and offering of sustained JEDI and EJ education for staff.
• Manage the creation systems to coordinate, track and evaluate employee JEDI participation.
• Provide JEDI integration guidance into campaigns and projects.
• Strengthen and expand equity and anti-racist practices in research and campaigns.
• Manage JEDI Office coordination for participation in EJ forums and JEDI conferences.
• Ensure UCS’s hiring practices align with JEDI goals.
• Assist in building and managing JEDI consultant relationships.
• Support resolution of JEDI-related issues and facilitate educational offerings.
• Liaise with UCS ERGs and coordinate ongoing activities.
• Identify JEDI priorities and develop plans for environmental equity work.
• Manage project plans, details and deadlines in the JEDI Office.
