Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, telecommunications, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and procurement, particularly in the telecommunications or Number Lookup industry.
  • Strong understanding of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and HLR services.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and other teams.
  • Familiarity with telecom regulations and mobile network infrastructure .
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a procurement strategy for MNP databases and HLR connectivity with global operators and service providers.
  • Identify and negotiate with new vendors, operators, and data providers who support mobile number portability in various countries.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing vendors to ensure service reliability and high-quality coverage.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and operators who can provide direct access to HLR through their networks.
  • Manage vendor contracts, pricing negotiations, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of vendor services into the Number Lookup product.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining the quality and coverage of the Number Lookup product.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes related to MNP, HLR, and mobile number portability services.
