Requirements:

• Demonstratable knowledge of Outwards Reinsurance.
• Strong experience in technical reinsurance operations and regulatory reporting.
• Relevant experience in developing departments and strengthening policies.
• Occasional travel required based on business needs.
• Knowledge of cross-border pan-European insurance markets is desirable.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and summarize findings.
• Effective stakeholder interaction, including senior management.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the Outwards Reinsurance program; manage data, premium payments, claims notifications and recoveries.
• Act as the principal point of contact for Reinsurance Brokers and Reinsurers.
• Identify and propose actions to improve reinsurance conditions and strategy.
• Engage with relevant departments to assess reinsurance requirements.
• Lead renewal activities and negotiate reinsurance conditions; review treaties and compliance.
• Manage operational issues and account queries.
• Maintain reinsurance treaty inventory and update policies.
• Participate in projects for procedure improvement and business development.
• Report to Risk Committees and assist in identifying potential risks.
• Maintain relationships within the group.
