Requirements:
  • P&C insurance license (4-40 or 2-20 preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years P&C industry experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Routine travel required.
  • 5+ years P&C industry experience preferred.
  • Previous Personal Lines Excess & Surplus experience preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing assigned agents to direct qualified risk selection.
  • Generate new premium growth through interaction with existing agencies via calls, emails, and visits.
  • Identify and develop new agency opportunities through prospecting.
  • Train new and existing assigned agencies while following up on outstanding questions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on product offerings and core systems.
  • Provide account management for agencies and maintain accurate records via Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing for consistent communication with agents.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for solutions.
  • Work with product management to communicate competitive information and necessary product modifications.
  • Monitor and report newly appointed agency metrics.
  • Identify training opportunities from incomplete quote activity.
