Commercial Counsel (East)

Requirements:

• 6+ years of in-house experience is required; technology company experience preferred.
• Knowledge of data privacy and handling Data Processing Agreements is required.
• Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong business-friendly style supporting the business's growth and success.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including SAAS, professional services, partner agreements, and NDAs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and open-minded approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of legal agreements.
• Advise on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
• Understand customer positions and internal client requests to solve problems.
• Triage a heavy workflow, set priorities, and deliver results efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
• Manage agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
