Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in compliance, preferably in Ireland.
• Direct experience in a financial services firm as a compliance leader.
• Knowledge of crypto regulations and experience liaising with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Independent management of compliance programs, including audits.
• Experience developing internal controls and collaboration with global teams.
• Professional compliance or finance qualification and membership in a recognized professional body.

Responsibilities:

• Identify relevant regulatory requirements for Coinbase Ireland and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments in Ireland and Europe, implementing required changes.
• Provide updates to senior management and the Board of Directors regarding compliance programs.
• Oversee regulatory notifications, comment letters, and daily communications.
