Requirements:

• Keen appreciation for design excellence and quality of design implementation in code.
• Deep experience in CSS architecture and practices, including cross-browser concerns and responsive design.
• Expertise in React, React Native, Typescript, SCSS, CSS Modules, Style Dictionary, and Storybook.
• Solid knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem and npm package development.
• Experience implementing testing for UI components to meet design standards.
• Experience in a fast-paced design system with a focus on git and GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain React and React Native design system libraries.
• Participate in the Marmalade ecosystem to evolve design and engineering processes.
• Validate system quality through visual and cross-platform testing.
• Conduct outreach about Marmalade to discover features and improvements.
• Ensure timely, stable, and scalable availability of the design system for consumers.
