Requirements:

• Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a medical-related background.
• Familiar with medical terminologies.
• A healthcare-related degree is highly preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
• HIPAA Certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, impartial, highly organized, and computer savvy.

Responsibilities:

• Managing inbound and outbound calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding inquiries and appointments.
• Maintaining great phone etiquette.
• Obtaining medical history through various Electronic Medical Records systems.
• Verifying healthcare insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Providing administrative support including data entry, appointment scheduling, email management, record management, and time-keeping.
• Taking charge of health promotion, explaining care plans, admissions, and new patient intake.
• Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients.
• Strictly adhering to and complying with HIPAA policy.
