The Borgen Project is a national campaign dedicated to making poverty a priority in U.S. foreign policy. We achieve this through political advocacy, working to influence legislation that improves living conditions for those impacted by poverty, war, and famine. Our 20-year history demonstrates a significant impact, with our efforts supporting bills that have positively affected nearly 500 million people in developing countries. We're a small but mighty team, currently employing 1-10 people, driven by a passion for positive change. While we leverage technology like Cloudflare Hosting and YouTube for communication and outreach, our focus remains on building strong relationships and effective advocacy strategies. We offer a unique opportunity for those seeking impactful, unpaid internships (with college credit options) across various areas, including political affairs, PR/marketing, writing/journalism, nonprofit leadership, and human resources. Our remote-first work environment allows for flexibility, while fostering a collaborative culture focused on making a difference globally. We value dedication, passion and diverse backgrounds over specific credentials.
