Engineering at Breezy HR
As an engineer at Breezy HR, you will drive the evolution of their cloud platform, stabilizing, securing, and enhancing its capabilities. You will be a primary decision-maker for AWS architecture, reliability, CI/CD, observability, and cost management. The team owns the production infrastructure end-to-end, covering networking, compute, storage, IAM, routing, scaling, backups, and disaster recovery. You will standardize and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CDK, codifying development, staging, and production environments with repeatable patterns and least-privilege IAM. Breezy HR emphasizes fast and safe deployments, driving progressive delivery where sensible. The team ensures end-to-end observability with logs, metrics, and traces, leading incident command and postmortems. You will also own cloud security baselines and support compliance needs like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. The current stack includes Node.js microservices, MongoDB and Redis for data, AWS for hosting/orchestration, and Git-based CI/CD with common observability suites.
