Requirements:
  • Senior level experience (~10 years) in a DevSecOps or Production Engineering position.
  • Experience in a mentor or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of pipeline technologies like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Active knowledge of DevOps Automation tools (Terraform, GitHub).
  • Strong understanding of security concepts (threat modeling, risk assessment).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with container security (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
  • Exposure to container hosting platforms (Kubernetes, AWS AKS, etc.).
  • Experience with operational monitoring tools (DataDog, New Relic).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Ability to review security and vulnerability data for risk identification.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and hands-on in defining, designing, and implementing build, deployment, security, and monitoring standards.
  • Work with development teams to maintain CI/CD building blocks and automated pipelines.
  • Administer DevOps tools and maintain processes, including version control and containers.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and monitor system availability.
  • Establish and monitor DORA metrics for performance assessment and improvement.
  • Create and enhance dashboards for KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Manage deployment of infrastructure/applications in cloud platforms using automation tools.
  • Evaluate application and infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Mentor team members and translate organizational goals into team objectives.
