Accounting Manager (Part-Time)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA is a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, CPA preferred.
• Advanced+ Excel skills.
• Experience with standard software solutions: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
• Professional curiosity and creativity.
• Passionate desire to learn and for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analysis.
• Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for clients.
• Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing, collections, and reviewing contracts.
• Manage Accounts Payable ensuring accurate entry, timely payment, and compliance.
• Process employee onboarding, payroll, and terminations.
• Mentor and train future team members.
