Requirements:

• 7+ years overall software engineering experience with a minimum of 3+ years managing a team of at least 5 people.
• Experience developing and managing teams building internet-scale solutions.
• Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals.
• Effective leadership in mentoring staff with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Good collaboration skills with history of addressing customer and stakeholder needs.
• Understanding of software development processes with adaptability to engineering methodologies.
• Proven track record in delivering software and project management across teams.
• Ability to evaluate complex project risks and issues technically.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities.
• Expertise in at least one area of computer science or engineering.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve Coalition’s industry-leading scanning engine to identify security issues.
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities, delivered on product features on time.
• Provide technical expertise to automate processes and improve team efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and identify skill gaps and growth needs.
• Manage technical debt alongside new feature development and business priorities.
• Ensure complete software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Business staff for resource and schedule management.
• Maintain transparent communication across all organization levels.
• Participate in recruiting and team-building processes.
