Requirements:

• 8+ years of related work experience in pipefitting, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of pipefitting tools and equipment
• Accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and clarity in conformance with drawing, specifications, and safety standards.
• Physically must be able to lift up to 75 pounds to overhead position.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work dayshift or nightshift.
• Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather condition.
• Ability to Relocate: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

Responsibilities:

• Assembles, installs, and maintains pipes for various systems including water, gas, and drainage.
• Follows blueprints, building plans, and sketches to meet the needs of clients.
• Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe to required angles using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Ensures compliance with drawing and specifications, and adheres to safety regulations.
• Collaborates with other construction professionals, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assists in the installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Works directly with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to review plans and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assists in coordinating specific project schedules by working with other pipefitters, laborers, and required construction resources. Reviews and verifies materials to ensure conformance to project specifications.
• Serves as part of a functional team or works independently to complete assignments according to scheduled deadlines.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position, as appropriate.
