Requirements:
  • You have 5+ years of experience cultivating and managing diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
  • You have 7+ years of experience building and rapidly scaling real time solutions.
  • You have experience implementing resilient, secure, scalable and high-performance payments integrations with major payments platforms.
  • You have experience designing and implementing fraud detection and prevention systems to maintain client trust.
  • You have proven ability to provide technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and guide the team's approach to designing and building solutions.
  • You have familiarity with payment industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and understand payment data analytics and reporting to drive business insights and optimizations.
  • You have familiarity with modern tech stacks including technologies like Node, React, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GraphQL, Redis, and Kafka.

  • You will shape and support the career development for the members of your team.
  • You will inspire and grow your team through mentorship, empowerment, timely feedback, and challenging them to deliver their best work.
  • You will collaborate closely with the team and stakeholders to define the architecture of our Checkout and Payments Platform, leveraging your communication, collaboration, and planning skills to create rapid value for Stitch Fix.
  • You will work in close partnership with loss prevention and security teams to architect security features to reduce fraud on our platform.
  • You will work with business partners to help set priorities and plan the roadmap for your team.
  • You will find, hire, and develop people that compliment each other as a diverse, inclusive team.
  • You will facilitate technical design discussions, remove blockers and align stakeholders.
  • You will inspire an atmosphere of continuous improvement by serving as a coach, mentor, and technical advisor.
