Minimum 60 semester hours completed in an ABET-accredited electrical engineering program.
Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level program with a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.
Must demonstrate knowledge of electrical or power engineering concepts and theories.
Previously demonstrated coursework or internships utilizing AutoCAD software suite.
Coursework or prior internship experience in solar/renewable energy technology is desirable.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Efficient time management – must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Gain knowledge in PV solar and energy storage system components including modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems.
Gain skill in specialized software tools including AutoCAD.
Support the creation of detailed electrical plan sets and engineering design documents for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
Work under the direction of full-time staff.
Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.
