Power BI Engineering Internship

Requirements:

• Minimum 60 semester hours completed in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar.
• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program with a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of computer science and data engineering concepts and theories.
• Previously demonstrated coursework or internships utilizing SQL and SQL servers for data analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with data visualization programs like Power BI, Spotfire, or Tableau
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Efficient time management – must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities – must be able to diagnose and remediate technical problems, QA/QC, and offer strong recommendations without heavy technical support and work oversite.

Responsibilities:

• Act as an internal consultant to other Revamp employees and departments to identify opportunities for data integration and visualization.
• Utilize programs like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Zapier to clean and integrate new data into our warehouse.
• Design Power BI dashboards to create visuals and KPIs.
• Uncover opportunities to optimize SQL data queries and data storage to enhance performance
• Search for machine learning and other data science opportunities within the current data and processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.
