Requirements:

• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience designing and implementing complex server environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like BICEP, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like ACS, Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
• Remain current in operating systems / software analysis and technological developments and applications.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud and on-prem architectures. Design server and application architectures; perform administrative operation and maintenance functions of server hardware and software.
• Develop and implement a cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures a smooth transition to the cloud.
• Implement best practices for both cloud and on-prem security, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Work closely with software development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions are integrated effectively.
• Optimize spending through effective management of computer resources and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
