Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing or a similar role in medical imaging or healthcare software.
  • Strong foundation in computer science with competencies in software design and testing.
  • Experience developing automated tests for services and APIs using Java (Spring Framework) or Python
  • Experience developing and/or testing applications using cloud services in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience building testing solutions that support continuous integration.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging standards such as DICOM, FHIR, and HL7 v2 (DICOM required; FHIR and HL7 experience is a strong bonus).
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Test cloud-based healthcare software as part of an agile product development team.
  • Perform application and sub-system level software analysis to identify design gaps and develop test plans and test cases to ensure the design is correctly implemented and meets customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases, automated test pipelines, test infrastructure, and test tooling.
  • Enhance existing test systems and develop new test tools as necessary.
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand and refine solution requirements and drive appropriate software test coverage.
  • Author and execute manual test cases when required (expected to be minimal).
  • Write/generate test reports following process, automating as much as possible while refining tooling.
  • Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and processes for regulated software medical devices.
