Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years Product Management experience, with at least 2 years in a Product Development environment.
• If no degree, at least 8 years of Product Management experience, with 3 years in Product Development.
• Experience in an e-commerce environment or API-driven technical environment is advantageous.
• Proven track record of execution and product roadmap formulation.
• Ability to guide junior team members in product management.
• Strong solution-oriented mindset and accountablity.
• Initiative in ambiguous situations and strong problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven decision-making and effective storytelling.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and customer advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Building the overall vision and roadmap of the Payments portfolio on all Takealot shopping platforms.
• Participate in shaping payment strategies and impacting how users pay.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to enhance payment-related processes.
• Negotiate with partners for payment services and implement solutions.
• Research the best payment solutions and keep up with market trends.
• Drive conversion rate optimization related to online payments.
• Translate business requirements into payment projects.
• Define and track metrics to inform product decisions.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define requirements.
• Document functional requirements for technical specifications.
• Collaborate with technical leads to establish the technical vision.
• Ensure development and QA teams understand requirements.
• Set timelines and drive project schedules.
• Review testing plans and perform user acceptance testing.
