Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to make decisions on the spot.
• Friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility in the face of change.
• Ability to multitask.
• Typing and PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks while maintaining performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate phone calls with physicians’ offices to connect them with pharmacy team members.
• Contact patients to discuss orders being fulfilled.
• Answer inbound calls regarding orders.
• Research prescription issues with patients and doctors to facilitate medication access.
• Document information from conversations in the computer system.
