Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a United States DOD Security Clearance.
• B.S. Degree or higher in Technical, Engineering, or Marine Degree from ABET accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in developing and integrating shipboard C5I systems on Naval or Marine vessels.
• Experience in areas such as Cybersecurity, Command and Control, Navigation, or Combat Systems.
• Meets required Department of Defense IAT Level II Baseline Certification Requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform calculations and apply electrical engineering principles to address technical issues in USCG ship design.
• Communicate technical principles directly to the client.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of analyses, calculations, and drawings.
• Design electric and electronic systems, study power generation, and centralized machinery monitoring.
• Develop and evaluate technical reports related to C5I systems aboard USCG ships.
• Review the effects of new electronics on system performance.
• Evaluate design specifications and adjudicate requests for waivers and engineering changes.
