Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering from a reputed institute.
• A Minimum of 18 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
• Wet utilities design- Storm water, Wastewater, Potable water, and TSE for UK, Middle East, and other regions.
• Proven experience with software like Microdrainage, CivilStorm, Sewergems/Watergems.
• Working knowledge of BIM platforms like Civil3D, Microstation, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience in International and Middle East Standards.
• Experience in implementing quality standards and procedures.
• Experience leading major Infrastructure projects at various design stages.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new software and tools for efficiency.
• Ability to work effectively with teams and clients.
• Chartered member or working towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent).

Responsibilities:

• Leads the design process of wet utilities- Gravity and Pressure networks.
• Checks and reviews Concept, Preliminary, Detailed design, related calculations, specifications, and documentation.
• Checks and reviews hydraulic models- Gravity and Pressure networks, Design Reports.
• Checks and reviews 3D models (Civil 3D/Revit)/drawing, components, and interface between design and BIM software.
• Facilitates multi-discipline coordination with LPOs and Clients.
• Contributes to Utility Clash analysis and Clash resolution.
• Provides technical guidance within design teams with minimal external guidance.
• Prepares budget, resourcing and delivers to the agreed budget and time frame.
• Writes effective sections of Technical Design reports/Technical Notes.
• Mentors the team for skill development on projects.
• Collaborates with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for project execution.
• Liaises with authorities for design approval.
• Stays informed on advancements in wet utility systems.
• Provides technical expertise during construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
• Manages time and budgets to meet key project milestones.
• Adheres to quality assurance standards in design.
• Applies AtkinsRéalis Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards.
• Embraces digital engineering and promotes innovative design solutions.
• Develops sustainable solutions and works towards NetZero.
