Senior Policy Manager

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in policy, with significant focus on agricultural programs.
• Deep understanding of relevant authorizations, appropriations, and agency structures.
• Experience working with agricultural stakeholders including farmers, cooperatives, and trade groups.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Agricultural Policy, Public Policy, or related field preferred.
• Experience with state-level agricultural programs is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Lithos policy team lead for regulatory and market affairs coverage in priority markets.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of agricultural, climate, and energy policy.
• Serve as an advisor to Lithos’ leadership and external stakeholders.
• Represent Lithos’ positions on regulatory and policy issues in public forums.
• Research and analyze federal, state, and local regulations relevant to Lithos’ activities.
• Lead engagement with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advocate for organizational objectives.
• Draft policy briefings, comment letters, and public testimony.
• Collaborate with industry associations and advocacy groups on shared policy goals.
• Hire and manage external policy resources, including consultants.
• Develop reports and presentations summarizing regulatory updates and policy initiatives.
