Requirements:
- M.A or M.S. in archaeology or a relevant field; B.A or B.S. with comparable professional experience is also considered.
- Preferred 6+ years professional experience in environmental industry as a primary Project Manager.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under short deadlines.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient for job duties.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage complex projects.
- Track and manage project deliverables.
- Lead a team of cultural staff.
- Document compliance/noncompliance with cultural resource protection measures.
- Interact and coordinate with various clientele, federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.
- Conduct background research and data collection on cultural/archaeological topics for Section 106 reports.
- Review summaries of environmental background studies.
- Attend and lead project meetings.
- Support company culture of safety and employee ownership.
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
