Requirements:
  • M.A or M.S. in archaeology or a relevant field; B.A or B.S. with comparable professional experience is also considered.
  • Preferred 6+ years professional experience in environmental industry as a primary Project Manager.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under short deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, dependable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient for job duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage complex projects.
  • Track and manage project deliverables.
  • Lead a team of cultural staff.
  • Document compliance/noncompliance with cultural resource protection measures.
  • Interact and coordinate with various clientele, federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.
  • Conduct background research and data collection on cultural/archaeological topics for Section 106 reports.
  • Review summaries of environmental background studies.
  • Attend and lead project meetings.
  • Support company culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
