Remote Part time Customer Service Representative

Requirements:

• This position is available only for part-time hours with a minimum requirement of 20-24 hours/week.
• Applicants must be available between 8 AM and 6 PM Central Time.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume healthcare call center required.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims review and health care/health insurance background required.
• Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assuring the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls with total follow through.
• Providing excellent customer service and answering client and provider questions including claims payment, status, and coverage information.
• Interpreting client health plan protocol and reviewing claims status.
• Maintaining accurate call documentation and professionalism.
