Requirements:

• Completed university degree in the area of accounting and finance.
• 6+ years of professional experience in an accounting team.
• Advanced knowledge of basic accounting and tax regulations in Poland.
• Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to create tables and use math functions.
• Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
• Ability to accurately compare various data sets between departments.

Responsibilities:

• Play a significant role in maintaining the financial books and records.
• Prepare journal entries, drafts schedules, complete reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and provide advanced financial analysis.
• Collaborate with different departments for strategic decision-making.
• Post payroll, reconcile payroll accounts, and provide analytical reports.
• Manage cash transactions in Polish and foreign bank accounts.
• Ensure timely supplier payments for the Polish subsidiary.
• Support tax and external audits in payroll and cash areas.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare month-end close schedules and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce routine and ad hoc reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accepted financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with global tax and compliance tasks.
