Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional J2EE/JEE platform experience.
• Deep experience with JEE/App Server technologies such as JMS, Web Services, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience with application server technologies like JBoss/WebSphere/WebLogic.
• Solid understanding of Java Programming APIs and popular Java frameworks.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a passion for problem solving.
• Willingness to learn new open source middleware technologies.
• Clear and effective English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and third-party vendors.
• BS/BA degree in engineering or computer science preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities:

• Own the resolution of customer issues from initial contact to complete customer satisfaction.
• Provide high-level, detailed technical assistance to ensure customers effectively utilize Red Hat JBoss Middleware offerings.
• Utilize problem-solving techniques and debug source code to resolve complex support issues.
• Create blogs/whitepapers and knowledge base articles to disseminate technical knowledge.
• Engage with open source developers globally and offer developer-to-developer assistance.
• Contribute new code, improve existing code, and provide solutions to the JBoss and open source communities.
• Develop patches and feature requests to benefit both the community and customers.
• Advise customers on JEE architectural design decisions.
• Collaborate with other open source projects for customer integration.
