Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and customization of Android Framework.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems and hardware interaction.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel and low-level programming.
• Experience with multimedia frameworks like ExoPlayer and DRM integration.
• Proficiency in debugging tools like ADB, logcat, and performance profiling tools.
• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Experience in designing and maintaining database schemas, familiarity with SQLite or similar databases.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Fire OS, Android, or embedded systems development.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customized builds of Fire OS for streaming devices.
• Integrate and debug hardware components with Fire OS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve features.
• Solve complex technical issues and perform system-level debugging.
• Write scalable and maintainable code following best practices.
• Implement secure solutions for managing multimedia content using DRM.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ongoing development.
