Requirements:

• Highly self-motivated and results-oriented team player.
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles like CTO, Head of Engineering, or VP of Engineering.
• Experience leading diverse teams of 70+ and scaling the company effectively.
• Proven track record of aligning technical strategies with business goals.
• Deep understanding of software development processes including frontend and backend development.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, OOP, SOLID, and design patterns.
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading remote engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Advanced level of English.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus.
• Fluency in Russian is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Driving the engineering department’s strategic vision and execution in alignment with company goals.
• Overseeing functional leads and the engineering department of about 70 people.
• Building and scaling an engineering company that fosters innovation and high performance.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality, reliable, scalable software solutions.
• Ensuring effective communication between engineering, product, and other business units.
• Strengthening and developing a culture of cooperation and trust.
• Hiring, mentoring, and managing performance across all engineering teams.
• Leading SAFe's transformation processes.
• Defining and monitoring team performance metrics for accountability.
• Driving the long-term roadmap for technical architecture and platform scalability.
• Providing regular updates to the CEO and executive leadership.
• Collaborating with the VP of Product for alignment of strategies.
• Overseeing technical architecture and infrastructure for reliability and security.
