Requirements:
- BS/BA in Sciences or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
- Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting individual revenue as well as the goal for assigned region.
- Establishes and maintains a productive relationship between the client and laboratory.
- Provides sales plan forecast for assigned region and monitors accounts receivable.
- Develops strategies for pricing and bid decisions, creates client profiles, and tracks leads.
- Communicates customer needs to project managers, follows up on bids and proposals.
- Negotiates pricing and contractual issues and assumes role as 'sponsor' for National Accounts.
- Gathers market intelligence on competitors and identifies opportunities for new services.
