Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
  • Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for meeting individual revenue as well as the goal for assigned region.
  • Establishes and maintains a productive relationship between the client and laboratory.
  • Provides sales plan forecast for assigned region and monitors accounts receivable.
  • Develops strategies for pricing and bid decisions, creates client profiles, and tracks leads.
  • Communicates customer needs to project managers, follows up on bids and proposals.
  • Negotiates pricing and contractual issues and assumes role as 'sponsor' for National Accounts.
  • Gathers market intelligence on competitors and identifies opportunities for new services.
