Requirements:

• PharmD, PhD, or MD.
• At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in Medical Affairs.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to influence.
• Ability to understand medical knowledge and interpret scientific data.
• In-depth knowledge of complex diseases.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of thought leader relationship-building in strategic disease areas.
• Cultivate current and future experts in academic and clinical medicine.
• Serve as a scientific partner to the commercial field team.
• Liaise regularly with internal commercial leaders.
• Represent Sirtex at medical meetings and interactions with thought leaders.
• Identify key thought leaders for medical education.
• Report to Head of Medical Affairs and develop strategic thought leader plans.
• Identify and facilitate the initiation of Investigator Initiated Trials.
• Provide field-based medical support to global clinical research programs.
• Deliver high-caliber medical education presentations.
• Gather competitive intelligence and complete required documentation.
