Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of current AML and sanctions regulations, including FCA requirements, Money Laundering Regulations, JMLSG, and others.
• Understanding of Customer Due Diligence and KYC requirements for various client types.
• Proficiency in relevant AML/CTF software; experience with ComplyAdvantage and GBG is beneficial.
• Experience in a UK Financial Services environment.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Collaborative mindset with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support the MLRO and AML Function in executing Compliance and AML strategy.
• Ensure AML frameworks are compliant with statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Design, document, and implement AML QA framework.
• Conduct QA over core 2LOD AML activities like approvals and escalations.
• Perform ongoing QA of AML and financial crime policies and procedures.
• Produce management information for AML QA.
• Conduct horizon scanning for AML and Sanctions regulatory changes.
• Support development of key controls during product and process design.
• Develop and deliver AML and sanctions training.
• Support review of AML and Sanctions Risk and Control Assessment.
