- 7+ years HR strategic leadership experience in a multicultural environment, managing multiple states or countries and remote workers.
- Ability to think strategically but act tactically, owning day-to-day tactical people processes.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a solutions-based mindset.
- Ability to work independently and be highly accountable for results.
- Operational knowledge of HR/employment law and health and safety regulations.
- Employee relations experience across multiple geographies.
- Technological savvy with HRIS, ATS, and employee engagement platforms, and proficient with Google Suite and Apple products.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for C-suite interaction.

- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
- Preferred: SHRM/CIPD or equivalent membership, experience with Google Suite, BambooHR, psychometrics qualification, master's in HRM or Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
- Develop open and enduring stakeholder relationships with Turnitin Leaders to assist in the development and delivery of the People Strategy.
- Provide management information and summaries of the employee engagement and relations landscape monthly and quarterly, conducting reviews and course corrections as needed.
- Execute annual and bi-annual plans/OKRs with support from COEs to continuously improve key metrics like turnover and diversity.
- Advise leaders on effective organizational design to achieve operational outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders and the talent acquisition team to forecast talent needs.
- Research best practices to enhance key people practices.
- Support the entire Americas people team as needed.
- Drive and sustain change while engaging key partners, ensuring processes are documented and automated.
- Translate information into data for decision-making and focus on process improvement.
- Champion company values and cultural norms, highlighting values-oriented behaviors.
- Support operational strategy for employee engagement and relations.
- Drive positive outcomes for DEI and Social Impact programs.
