Online English Language Arts Teachers - Part Time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited US university.
• State teaching certification and/or relevant credential preferred.
• Minimum one year of online teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to develop lesson plans for K-12 students.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.
• Availability for early morning or late evening classes preferred.
• Knowledge of proven strategies for student success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide live, synchronous instruction and asynchronous facilitation support.
• Work with a variety of domestic and international students.
• Prepare for live instruction including technology and course material.
• Adhere to communication procedures for student support.
• Grade student work within 24 business hours and respond to emails timely.
• Maintain order in the virtual classroom and assist in policy implementation.
• Collaborate with Mentor Teachers and Academic Manager.
