Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited program.
• Current license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to practice in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and related technology.

Responsibilities:

• Provides counseling and crisis intervention services, assessing and treating emotional and behavioral issues in patients.
• Collaborates with family members and support systems on treatment and discharge planning.
• Communicates patient progress, concerns, and potential issues to physicians.
• Ensures documentation, including clinical and progress notes, is timely and accurate as per policy.
• Works with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment and discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments.
