Commercial Legal Counsel

Requirements:

• US qualified commercial lawyer with Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years Post Qualification Experience with active Bar Membership.
• In-house or private practice experience in the global digital marketing services or technology industry.
• Solid knowledge of data protection law.
• Strong team collaboration skills within a Global Legal and Compliance function.
• Commercial acumen and drive to support the growth of the business.
• Flexible and able to manage varied workload and deadlines.
• Ability to explain legal advice clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Contract management including negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
• Act as counsel lead in contract negotiations with client’s counsel.
• Provide advice on various commercial legal matters and support requirements.
• Increase efficiency in contracting processes and create/update templates and training materials.
• Advise on legal and regulatory updates, including data protection and marketing laws.
• Offer legal guidance on both contentious and non-contentious business affairs.
• Partner with HR and finance teams in drafting internal policies and agreements.
