Requirements:

• A relevant degree or experience in Graphic Design.
• Proven relevant position in an organization.
• Experience working in a target-driven role.
• A portfolio of strong visual communications work.
• Experience working independently and with teams using one's own initiative.
• A wide degree of creativity and a good grasp of storytelling.
• Proven understanding of communication channels (e.g., media outlets, social media).
• Demonstrated flexibility.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing demands under pressure.
• Proficiency in design software and technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite, and prior experience using communication channels such as Slack.
• Understanding of social media management tools.
• Capability for use of video editing software desired.

Responsibilities:

• To support the implementation of the BCI Communications strategy.
• To raise the profile of BCI among relevant audiences, both within and outside the climate change policy community.
• To conceptualize visuals based on storytelling requirements for various communications activities including public relations, social media, website, newsletters, and audio-visual materials.
• To create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.
• To support BCI external and internal events including major industry events such as COP27.
