Requirements:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including effective stakeholder engagement.
• Strong English writing skills and ability to tailor communications.
• Demonstrable knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reference management software like Mendeley or Zotero.
• Specialist knowledge in Energy or Environmental Policy and general knowledge of climate change, adaptation, resilience, and blockchain technology.
• An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and a postgraduate research degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in independent research, supervising colleagues, and working in target-driven environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting independent primary and secondary research in renewable energy, carbon trading, biodiversity and conservation, climate adaptation, natural resource management, blockchain technology, and AI.
• Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data using suitable methodologies and presenting findings clearly.
• Delivering high-quality research outputs such as reports, concept notes, briefing materials, and presentations.
• Providing research guidance and mentoring to other research staff.
• Assisting in project management and divisional administration tasks.
